About the Current Layout

Wow this past layout was up for just about a year ^^; Anyways, I knew the 4 year anniversary was coming up and I knew ED deserved a new look. Granted the html and css is not that different from the past layout but I wanted something darker. What better way to rock out then with an image of Nakashima Mika from NANA? I should also mention that this is version 13.0...lucky number! More excuses to rock out. Anyways, I loved the first NANA movie and lets face it, Glamorous Sky is an awesome song! Despite the awesome song...theres no lyrics this time around ^^; I also did away with the japanese.


I'm still surprised how smoothly the photoshop part of this layout went. Usually I go through dozens of images. I tried selective color filters....and coloring the image a few times to try and get something but in the end this is what I got. I loved loved loved the cover for it, i had a hard time editing the image. ^^; So in the end i tried to keep it intact as much as possible. I just wanted to try something monochrome. The CSS is mostly intact from last time, but it was still a fun yet hair ripping part. Lots of saving and refreshing. lol. This layout uses divs layers, blockquotes, lists....and the fun part...? opacity! New css I found last year. Made things more interesting I think.
