Alright so….this game is kinda trashy story wise. I didn’t mind 5 but honestly 6 is just a weird mish mash of stuff and yet i still….like playing it? Part of it is me just likes Resident Evil, another part of it is really because I do enjoy the gameplay. The action scenes/gameplay i could do without but I enjoy the shooting of enemies, sneaking, sliding and just the sort of options like that they added. The HUD is also nice for each campaign. Leon & Helena’s is probably the least offensive campaign story wise but even then….I feel like the story should have just stayed in Tall Oaks. Chris’ campaign probably aggravates me the most just due to Chris’ apparent memory loss/drinking/treating people like shit. Piers was a nice addition though. I liked Jake & Sherry as partners and parts of their story were interesting considering their parents but otherwise I didn’t really like parts of their campaign either. Ada’s was pretty cool I guess….just a lot of frustrating gameplay moments but that just seems to be a trend in Ada modes apparently. I still need to go back and complete stuff.

Blending action and survival horror, Resident Evil 6 promises to be the dramatic horror experience of 2013. Resident Evil favorites Leon S. Kennedy, Chris Redfield and Ada Wong are joined by new characters, including Jake Muller, to face a new horror, the highly virulent C-virus, as the narrative moves between North America, the war-torn Eastern European state of Edonia and the Chinese city of Lanshiang.
With four distinct, yet interwoven story threads, each with their own pair of protagonists for either solo or co-op play, both offline and online, not only will Resident Evil 6 deliver both different perspectives and gameplay styles but, with the introduction of the innovative Crossover mechanic players will be able to team up and share the horror. At key moments during the game, up to four players can join together online to tackle a specific situation, with some stages seeing the usual partnerships swapped to further increase the depth of gameplay.
